"The exhilarating ripple of her voice was a wild tonic in the rain."

"I had to follow the sound of it for a moment, up and down, with my ear alone, before any words came through."
F. Scott Fitzgerald - The Great Gatsby (1925)

Taking current and classic hits back in time to the big brassy sound of the 1920s.

Think Beyoncé, Bette Midler and The Boswell Sisters meet The Great Gatsby for the first time and WOW they get along like a house on fire!

The three of us met back home in Doncaster eighteen years ago!

Here we discovered a great friendship, a shared passion for music & performing and the romance of the good old days!

Nine years ago on a rainy day in January, we decided we wanted to sing together.

The Wild Tonics was born.

Harriet

Our top part gal, can usually be heard singing in the rafters with the high harmonies and you’ll probably find her stood in the middle as she’s all of 5ft3!

She’s pretty nifty at getting the girls to the gigs as she’ll have planned the journey, packed the bags and factored in time for a cup of tea well in advance.

She likes to keep the girls entertained with her impressions of people but don’t worry she wont be doing any on the mic!

Her fave Tonic tunes are Thong Song and Drunk in Love.

Katie

Our middle voice- the meat in the sandwich if you will.

Obsessed with all things vintage, she loves to trawl a second hand market looking for forgotten gems.

Most often found at a gig either scanning the buffet or trying to remember whether she stands on the right or left.

Her favourite Tonic tune is Bohemian Like You.

Bel

Our buttery biscuit bass, on the bottom harmony.

When’s she’s not living life as a 1920s Tonic, you can find her spirit child lodged firmly in the 90s.

At gigs you will most probably hear her sneaking in a few dad jokes into the set... If you happen to catch the punch line do let us know!

Annabel’s favourite Tonic track is Lullaby of Broadway or the rap section in Vouge. Rapping is possibly her calling.

You girls were sensational! From booking you to the occasion itself, you have been exceptional. The guests raved about you all evening.
